Just right click the new disk and click Mark -> Candidate... depending of your configuration, all data that was rebuild on spare disk will be copied to the new candidade disk and the spare will be release. If the data do not copy to the new disk, just right click again and mark the disk as Spare.

You should do the operation of Mark on disk with Drive ID 18 (the disk with unused status), not on disk with Drive ID 4.

Hello Richardson ,

let me explain what I have done from first onwards.

* After the addition of new hdd , it taken automatically with drive ID 4 and drive slot 15 ,

*then I went  to events tab , and select Run this fix procedure option , after that step it came under mdisk 2 ,

As per your suggestion i tried with Drive ID 18 also , but result giving the same ,  please find the attached .6.jpg

Just to make sure if I understand you, what you want is:

1st: that the disk with Drive ID 4 on slot 15 show as Member of MDisk2.

2nd: that the disk with Drive ID 18 on slot 1 shows as Spare status.

If yes for both, please attach a new image (Go to Internal Storage -> All Internal) containing status of all your disk and let me know if there is any Running Tasks.
