Services on ESX

hey;

in any problem case in Vcenter or ESX for example if i cant connect to vcenter or esx how can i check to services are running  or not on esx with putty ?

which services i need to check ?

In case of VC, Check if vCenter Server service is running or not. In case of ESX and VC communication issue check If vpxa service is running or not and if ESX in not reachable check all the network services running or not and firewall is properly configured and hostd services is running properly.
