We are midway through an infrastructure refresh for a customer and they have requested (late in the day) ELM across both sites. We had initially gone with vCenter with an integrated PSC due to the small two vCenter environment and simpler configuration.
I have read the documentation and I know it is possible to create an external PSC in productions and migrate to this, thus disabling the PSC services on the vCenter. Unfortunately this is not possible at this point, as we need to build the customers DR environment before we make any major changes to production.
Anyway, my question is, am I okay to build DR with an external PSC and point the new DR vCenter to this, then sometime down the line migrate production to an external PSC? If anyone has any documentation that is relevant in this kind of scenario it would be much appreciated.
Also do I have to join the production SSO for ELM when configuring the second site.
