SRM 8.8.0.3 network settings not applying

Hi there

I am deploying SRM 8.8.0.3 appliance and specify static IP config.

The deployment completes but it is not on the network. When I verify the network config file, it is configured for DHCP. Other settings such as host name, NTP or DNS are not set either. What gives?

Also, why is there no subnet mask setting when specifying for network details? Now perhaps I have to specify it after the ip address but did not think of it at the time

I got it on the network by manually configuring file in accordance with photonos guide but would expected it to just apply.

Have you tried with version 8.7 for example? 

Do you have the same issue?

I think the issue was around the network prefix setting.
Eventually I added 27 for my /27 network and it kicked into place.

A lack of QC on that network prefix field, I noticed. When you click the field up/down arrows appear and you can increase it way beyond the acceptable masks. I stopped at /370 🙂
