SRA (Storage Replication Adapter) for Hitachi downloading is not working.

Hi pal, I want to download SRA (Storage Replication Adaptor) for Hitachi. The download buttons are greyed out but its being clicked & after clicking another tab is coming of same URL.

can anyone give me any working URL to download the SRA for Hitachi. Or can anyone guide me how can i get it?

Hi

You should be able to download it from my.vmware.com website Download VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 5.5 and you will need a my.vmware.com account.

If you try to search it on HDS website here: HDS: Download Plug-in and Adapter for VMware Environments - Hitachi Data Systems it is also pointing to my.vmware.com link.

Try different internet browsers if the download does not work.

Don't forget to read the reference guide/deployment guide for HDS with SRM, in my opinion it's quite tricky to deploy SRM with HDS.

Hitachi SRA are very tricky, I would recommend having a working backup of the HORCM config files if you have the SRM working fine.

I am logging to my vmware account & trying to downloading the SRA but unable to download it. It is prompting me the message like below:

I have been trying to download this for many days. Cant i get the evaluation version of this product?

Pal, if you have a authorised access would you please provide me the link so that i can download the software smoothly.

Yes you should be able to try / register an evaluation of SRM.

Login to my.vmware.com and navigate to this link http://www.vmware.com/go/try-srm and select 'Register Here' on the right-hand side.

Or you can also go to My Evaluations to check if your SRM evaluation license has expired, then you can select 'Start an Evaluation' and choose 'VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager', and select 'Register Here'

If your existing account has expired SRM evaluation license, you can try registering a new my.vmware.com account.

Pal, I have already downloaded the vCenter SRM software evaluation version. And i have downloaded SRA plugin for NetApp & EMC also but i am unable to download the SRA plugin for Hitachi. why is that so? can you plz try from your side and tell me whether you are able to download. or can we report to vmware for that to enable downloading.

After trying to register the evaluation license for SRM with my personal user, I got same results - can't find the Hitachi SRA on the eval download page.

Try contacting your local VMware or Hitachi representatives to get the SRA.
