We have 3 hosts in a cluster, 2x have 16 cores @ 2,200 mhz and 1x 20 cores @ 2,300 MHz, which gives us 116,400 MHz total. The maximum limit I can allocate to a resource pool is 103,000 MHz, where would we be losing the other 13,400 MHz ?

It's the Hypervisor overhead, which basically is the amount reserved for the hypervisor's processes to run safely.

It is editable. There is a nice article where Tom Fojta talks about it.

Thanks, I knew resources would be lost to overhead, you posted exactly what I was looking for in explaining where and how much is lost :smileyhappy:
