Hello. Question: how can I rename vCenter 6.0 U3? Is there any manual how to do this? Or create a new vCenter and move the hosts from the old one to it?
unfortunately changing OS name wont work in 6.0 +. See this KB. There is a known issue. The vCenter services may not start after changing the hostname.
