Regressing vCenter Migration

Hello

We are looking at documenting vCenter migration from 6.0 (windows based vcenter / SQL DB) to vCenter 6.5 Appliance (with external PSC).  We have been asked to provide regression steps.

If we wanted to go back to, could we simply power off the 6.5 vCSA & PSC and switch back on the 6.0 versions (vCenter / PSC / DB)?

Thanks

Yes, you should be able to do that

Thanks for the reply.

Just thinking about this, and the sequence... if vCSA / PSC 6.5 was powered off, would I need to use something like PowerCLI to revert the vCenter / PSC/ SQL DB snapshots as I won't have a working vCenter at that point?

Thanks again

There is nothing that would be changed on the source (Windows) side, so there's nothing to revert. You simply power on the SQL DB and vCenter and be back in business.
