Hi, we are working on migrating VMs from using a vCenter 6.7 appliance and ESXi 6.7 hosts to vCenter and ESXi 7.0.3. A few VMs have snapshots because they are used for versioning an image (the VM itself is not used, so performance is not an issue). I would like to shut down the VMs, unregister from inventory, and then register them on the new vCenter and new hosts. I am not sure, however, if this is possible with the snapshots. My understanding is that it should be, but that the snapshot information is stored in vCenter so we might not have any information about which snapshot is which. Is this true, or am I concerned over nothing? Thanks!
