An error occurred during a drive expansion that left the VMDK large, but the available size to the guest and settings smaller. How do I reclaim that lost space.
Any changes to the disk now give
Reconfigure virtual machine:Insufficient disk space on datastore ''.

800 GB in datastore
Hard Disk 1 is 80 GB
Hard Disk 1 VMDK = 83 GB
Hard Disk 2 is 600 GB
Hard Disk 2 VMDK is 765 GB
The settings only see the 600 GB both in ESXi and in the Guest OS.
No snapshots in place
I appreciate any assistance, unfortunately the customer only has subscription and no support options.
