RAID options in vCenter !??

if I have 2 HDDs on the ESXi server

is it possible from vCenter to configure them with RAID 1 !??

Unless the RAID controller in your server has some type of vCenter plugin, then no, RAID levels cannot be configured from within vCenter.

vCenter will not understand the RAID configuration on your server.

Even if you have a plug-in, it should go through orchestrator, which will talk to your Server management module.

Then you will have to make it understand how the server RAID works and then install ESXi manually or automate that too.

Sound complicated right?
