Question about VM storage

Hi,

Both VM disk files are located in "hkcluster_DS4700_san3".

In VM summary, I found there are 2 storages, "hkcluster_DS4700_san3" and "hkcluster_DS4700_san1".

Is resource using "hkcluster_DS4700_san1" ? Since no VM disk is using on this datastore.

If problem, how to fix it ?

Thanks

I am not sure I understand, but is it possible you overlooked an ISO connected to the CD/DVD?

Check if your VM is not using any ISO file from hkcluster_DS4700_san1.

It's probably your vswap. Where is that configured to be placed? I would create a new datastore for vswaps and under host configuration change the vswap location to the new datastore.

For now, if it is your vswap file just do a vmotion to another host, or power off and on again. If the vswap file is configured to be stored in the same location as the vm then it will move also and the second datastore will disappear.
