My Question is now, when i activate the LAG like this:

Will the Connection lost if i NOT trunkig my Switches?? I Need a 100% answere on this because when i loos the Connection i have a Problem.

I will trunk the Switch after the activation of the LAG but i cannot do this because the Admin Center for the Switch runs on the VMServer......

And the Vcenter Server is also running on this LAG, so when the connectuion is lost i have a big Problem.

THX for the Info!

Regards

You need to have the LACP LAG brought up on your switch side before you enable this, otherwise you will lose connectivity. But whether you lose connectivity to manage the ESXi host depends on what you're trying to run over that bundle. If it's just VM traffic then the host will be manageable. If it's management traffic then you'll lose connectivity.

Also, are you licensed to use the distributed switch (vDS)?
