I'm in the process of setting up a new VCenter 6 environment. I'm using the two VCSA appliances, with one as the external PSC, and the other for the VCenter
install.
I want to be able to use the "use windows session authentication" , so as I understand it I need to join the PSC appliance to our A/D domain.
However, I'm having problems with joining it to A/D. I log into the web console, go to "administration""deployment, System Configuation, Nodes and select the PSC appliance. On the manage menu, select Active Directory and click on Join.
I enter the domain, O/U, and my credentials. It processes for a few seconds then comes back with no errors. I then reboot the PSC.
During the reboot, the appliance shows up in the right O/U in Active Directory, but when I go back into the VCSA to the PSCnode configuration, it still shows as if it's not in the domain. It doesn't show any info in the "domain" or "Organization Unit" fields, the "join" button is still there, and "leave" is grayed out.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
