Problem With Update Manager 6.0

[2xlvm]

I have updated my vCenter Server and VUM to 6.0.

But my host are still at 5.5.0,2456374.

When i am trying to use VUM for upgrading patches,I am receiving the below error in stage patches to entity

Stage patches to entity vmhost2. The host returns esxupdate error code:14. There is an error when resolving dependencies. Check the Update Manager log files and

esxupdate log files for more details.

I've ran into the exact same problem. So far I haven't been able to figure it out. This is a brand new ESXi 6.0.0 3073146 host in a new development environment.

Hi,

It may be not the exact solution for your query but you can try this if you can visit HOSTs physically.

(in whichever way you may update the esxi-host how ever you need a reboot so get a down time before performing updating activity)

1) power off all VMs in host.

2) insert ESXI 6.0 bootable disk/ flash drive to HOST

3) reboot host and boot from bootable disk

4) in esxi installation steps you will find upgrade option select and your esxi will be updated to 6.0

5) go to vcenter add host once again.
