Port mirroring settings error

Hi,

I started to set up port mirroring, legacy, from fixed ESXi uplink (only ingress) to one VM in this ESXi. ESXi is 6.0, vCenter is 6.7 and vDS is 6.0. But it wasnt made the rule, but instead shows error:

"

A specified parameter was not correct: spec.vspanConfigSpec[].vspanSession

Invalid entities which are not distributed ports participate in port mirroring session whose key is unset.

"

What this means? What I must do?

Ok, seems the legacy mirror is deprecated. So, but I still need input from uplink. I have VM in vDS portgroup with VLAN 6. It sends traffic out with VLAN 6 and this reaches destination. But from destination to ESXi back, physical switch removes tag. So traffic dont reach VM, as portgroup is with VLAN 6. I find out solution (altough I dont know is it good solution or not). I use vmkernel0 port, it sits in untaged portgroup, mirror (distributed port mirroring option that is still usable in vCenter version I use) this port egress to my VM port. So in theory now my VM must get also untaged traffic...........but no ping???

As that is mandatory, Are you sure both vms are on same esxi host ?

I still dont understand why VMWare disabled "legacy mirror" in newer vDS. It becomes absolutely unusable. Those other methods just dont work.
