Port mirroring on VDC with LACP

Hi,

i have 4 serves with the following config:

vmnic0 - lacp partner 1 - vds1

vmnic1 - portmirror source nic - vds1

vmnic8 - lacp partner 2 - vds1

vmnic9 - portmirror dest nic. - vds2

i have created the following port mirror sessions on vds1:

Session nametest_mirror_src
Session typeRemote Mirroring Source
StatusEnabled
Normal I/O on destination portsAllowed
Encapsulation VLAN ID636
Preserve original VLANNo
Mirrored packet length--
Sampling rateMirror 1 of 1 packets

Source: the vds port of the source vm

Dest: vmnic1

i have created the following port mirror dest on vds2:

Session nametest_mirror_dest
Session typeRemote Mirroring Destination
StatusEnabled
Normal I/O on destination portsAllowed
Mirrored packet length--
Sampling rate

Mirror 1 of 1 packets

Source: VLANID 636

Dest: the vds port of the dest vm

on the switch side the network team configured vlan 636 to be "monitoring" (it's already works on old system) and included vmnic1+9 and the nics that play this game...

i can't see anything going on the dest vm with wireshark (i'm pinging between 2 vms connected to the source port group).

am i missing anything with the LACP configuration?

Thanks

Mordechai
