I am running the version of VCSA 5.5.0.10100 Build 1750781 and I am getting a warning in my vCenter Service Health saying:
performance statistics rollup from past day to past week is not occurring in the database
How do I check the jobs in the embedded database to ensure that they are running. And if they aren't running, how do I fix this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ant
I have the same issue, did you find a solution?
Seems like this is a known issue: VMware KB: vCenter Service Status shows a performance statistics rollup warning when running vCenter...
And to check the funcionallity check performance for a VM or host for the last days, weeks, month...
that's not it,
To be honest I haven't noticed the warning message for a couple of weeks. Doesn't mean that it's not still happening, but I've just been too busy to notice it if it is still happening.
The KB article could be mentioning the same issue for me, but I'm not convinced yet.
My problem started occurring after my SAN Team, while performing maintenance on the fabric switches, powered off both switches at the same time affecting the LUN that the vCenter was running from. After the LUN was bought back online, and the vCenter appliance powered back on, was when the warning messages first started to occur. So this is why I'm not convinced that the KB article is referring to my issue. I have a feeling that the fabric switch power off has had something to do with my problem. That's why I was looking for some help in being able to check the running jobs to ensure that there was no corruption or any issue like that.
Hi
I have check that and many other KB, I still have no data moving to the
week view, or monthly view.
Can we get this fixed before the weekend.

You're using vCenter Server Appliance or Windows version of vCenter with SQL ?
I'm using the vCenter 5.5 Appliance with the built in postgres database
