PXE boot to WDS server with EFI BIOS VM

Hello,

I am curious if anyone has successfully booted a EFI BIOS Windows VM to a Microsoft WDS server.  The specific scenario I am looking for is vCenter 6, Windows 2008 R2 WDS, Windows 2016 VM with EFI BIOS and VMXNET3 NIC.  When I try, it just hangs and never makes the connection.  If I switch to old school BIOS, it connects just fine.  Maybe someone knows a trick...

Thanks

This document should be of help to you: Using EFI/UEFI firmware in a VMware Virtual Machine

Hmm, not seeing anything about how to get WDS working.  It does say VMXNET2 is not supported, but nothing about VMXNET3.  Our WDS server does support UEFI physical servers, but not the EFI VMs.  Also, I am not sure what the difference is between UEFI and EFI.  HPE calls it UEFI and VMware calls it EFI.  Are they two separate technologies?
