Open Ports Required for Enhanced Linked mode

Hi Everyone,

I have 2 embedded vCenter 6 Servers with the PSC in a windows VM separated by a large geographic area. What ports are required to make enhanced linked mode work between both sites?

I assume since just the PSCs need to replicate it would just be:

443 for the webclient

389 for Active directory

Are there any other ports required? What would happen if one vCenter server went down? Would I be able to access all the inventory objects? Does just the permissions and licenses replicate over the WAN?

You need to have 636 port also, if you have any legacy vcenter (5.5) then you should have port 11711 also to be open.

Please refer to below VMware documentation for PSC-PSC and VC-PSC

vSphere 6.0 Documentation Center

Thanks,
