Need vSphere Replication suggestion

Hi,

I am currently running VCSA 6.5 upgraded from Windows VC 6.0..

vSphere replication 6.1.1 was running under Windows VC 6.0.

The goal is to get to 8.1 with VCSA 6.7 U1.

I want to upgrade to 8.1 from 6.1.1

Can you tell me the best practices, upgrade path

I am updating from 6.1 to 6.5 at the moment. Its stuck at " Installing Updates" for more than an hour. has anyone faced this problem?
