  • 1.  Move VM cross vCenter.

    Hi,

    I'm looking for the best way to migrate a VM from vCenter1 to vCenter2.

    I thought about :

    -Attach datastore2(vCenter2)  in vCenter1

    -Perform a storage vMotion (move storage to datastore2)

    -Shutdown the VM

    -Desubscribe the VM from vCenter1

    -Subscribe the VM in vCenter2

    -Turn on the VM

    Hi,

    Found a similar thread. Hope this helps move esxi hosts and VMs from one vCenter to another
