Migrate VCenter server configuration to appliance

Hi,

I am thinking about replacing my Windows VCenter Server with the VCenter Appliance. Is there any way to migrate all the settings and user accounts, or do I have to start from scratch? The VCenter is now using an external SQL DB and the plan is to use the Appliance with the embedded Database.

Any hint is appreciated.
