We have a enviroment running V-Center 6 U2, and want to upgrade it to V-Center 6.5 GA.
As part of the upgrade process, we are planning on migrating the VC from W2012R2 to W2016, to make sure we are running on the latest supported version.
The ESXi hosts are running 6U2, and the VC in running an internal postgres database.
Ive searched several forums, for a complete guide on upgrading / migrating from 6 to 6.5 and on a new server, but i cant seem to find any solutions, covering all the aspects.
Since we are running Veeam backup & replication, and have several security roles defined in the current setup, it is not possible to just install a new VC, without migrating the settings / database to the new server.
Can someone please provide me with a guide, how to accomplish this?
