Latest guest OS aren't available in options.

I installed Debian linux 7 on few VMs but this guest OS name is not availble in option. What to upgrade to get this option? Tools or VM version, how to change this without reboot!

Please upgrade virtual hardware of the VM, That will sole the problem without reboot. Also check if Debian linux 7 is supported on this version of ESX.
