If you buy vSphere Essentials (Plus) you get 2 different license keys

- 6x 1CPU ESXi Essentials

- 1x Instance vCenter Essentials

So go to MyVMware.com and take a look into your support contracts and you will see both keys.

Dear all

Hi

Actually vSphere Essentials Plus :

The vSphere Essentials Plus Kit consists of the following:vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) :

  • vCenter Server Essentials
  • vSphere Data Protection
  • vSphere High Availability (HA)
  • vSphere vMotion
  • Cross Switch vMotion
  • vSphere vShield Endpoint
  • vSphere Replication

and there is Essential vCenter license for that on your suite thus not need to buy separate license for vCenter

Go to "Manage License Keys" and check the boxes on all folders on the left. In the midle all products are listet.

I cant believe how to "split" a Essentials license so both licenses must be there.

- Is your existing Key is listed there?

- Are your the Procurement User/Supperuser for that Account?

Joerg
