KB67162 - Anyone else having this issue?

"There is no VM_NAME process running for config file" error when deploying a virtual machine (KB67162)

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/67162

VMware have said our environment has this known issue which requires us to maint mode cycle our hosts at seemly random intervals. Curious if anyone else out there has the same issue and would love to know how you are dealing with it.

With 8 hosts and some alerts, we are luckily able to detect the issue affecting a host early on and maint mode cycle it before things get out of hand for the users in Horizon 7.

Frequency is quite random but it only affects one host at a time, luckily. Might happen once a day or once a week so we make sure to keep an eye on things.

Wonder if anyone out there has found any preventative steps - I guess that is what VMware are working on in regards to a "fix" though...

Thought I'd add a note. Interesting to see 56 views on this post already! Must be a few other people out there with same/similar issue I guess.

I'm starting to focus on what the trigger is that plagues the random host. If we can figure that out, we'll have fair early detection which would help us to keep production users from experiencing session issues etc. Quite hopefully, VMware would find a common theme in the logs and maybe we can use a log insight tool to alert us really early on.

A shame it is a known issue and we are stuck on the reactive/fire fighting side of things when it happens.
