Issue with vCenter and virtual machine

hello, i have a problem with a virtual machine, we want to convert a physical server on a virtual machine, the virtual machine was created with the last version of the vCernter converter.

the first time that i will try to power on the virtual machine, apparently everything works normally, but when i try to restart the machine, it doesnt work and appears the next error

windows coukd not start because the following file is missing or corrupt

Windows\System32\Config\System

if i try to repair it with the files of the c:/windows/repair folder, i will lose the configuration of the programs

Also, i tried to access on the repair console of windows xp but always appears an error of disk

can i do anything to solve this issue?

Thanks!
