Isolate mutiple vCenter 5.5 (LINKED-MODE) instances before migrating to VCSA 6.5

Hello,

I have multiple sites with Windows based vCenter 5.5/Embedded SSO in Linked-Mode.

Based on the some of the VMware migration paths to VCSA 6.5, I am not finding any documentation if I need to isolate the vCenter 5.5 insdtances (removed from linked mode) before I proceed to reconfigure instances to use an external SSO prior to the 6.5 migration.

Also, I have an existing VCSA 6.5 and external PSC running my Horizon View environment.  How or what enables Enhanced Linked Mode when the migration takes place of the existing vCenter 5.5 instances?

Do I need to break Linked Mode before starting a migration?

Yes, you will need to break Linked Mode before starting your migration. This is the same process as a vSphere upgrade.
