Is Bare Metal Vcenter installation is possible/Supported on 6.7 ?

Hi Team,

I had seen in internet that vcenter is installed via 2 ways, one is through  a VM,Second one is through windows,

My Team is asking me like is this Vcenter can be installed like a Bare metal OS by downloading and installing the ISO make it into a Bootable USB disk like that ?

Is the above kind of installation possible ? is this supported by vmware ? I am trying to do this for 6.7 vcenter.

can some one clarify ?

As you already found out, vCenter Server 6.7 can be deployed in two ways.

The Windows based version installs the application, and the services on a supported Windows Server operating system.

The vCenter Virtual Appliance is a purpose build virtual machine that comes with everything you need, i.e. an operating system, the application, and the services.

Please note that support for vSphere 6.x will end in mid October, and that version 6.x is the last version that offers the Windows based installation.
