Inventory only has vCenter Server

I installed a new VCSA with AD integration and configured SSO Identity Source to reflect the new AD. I used vSphere Client to organize my VMs in Folders and Clusters but when I use Web Client to view my inventory, I cannot see any of my VMs except the vCenter Server. I am using administrator@vsphere.local. Any idea of how to solve this issue?. Thank you.

I think administrator@vsphere.local has full access by default. If not, how do you give it a full access?. Thank you.

You are right, the permissions for administrator@vsphere.local should be configured for full access on the vCenter Server object, with "Propaget to child objects" set by default. Please double-check these permissions on the vCenter Server object to make sure nothing has been changed while adding the AD as an identity source.

Okay. Not sure what's going on now. I keep getting "Client is not authenticated to VMware Inventory Service" when I login using any of the domain accounts. Here's my permissions screen and the errors generated when using both administrator@vsphere.local and domain\user account. Not sure if it has anything to do with STS signing.

The vCenter Server system will not appear in the inventory if you do not have permissions on it. For example, if you log in as the vCenter Single Sign On administrator user, you might not have permissions on any vCenter Server system.

Also Verify that the vCenter Server system is registered with the same lookup service as the vSphere Web Client.

Here is the link for basic troubleshooting for this. hope this will help you out.

Thanks.

I tried all these solutions with no avail. Is there any documentation on VMware community on how to register VCSA with the same lookup service as thevSphere Web Client?. I still get all the errors seen above. My last resort is to update VCSA to 5.51b. Maybe it will resolve it.

Hope it works. Else you need to go ahead with upgrading your VCSA.

Unfortunately, it did't work. I think I have a problem with vcenter server and web client registration. I need to know how to unregister vcenter server from the vsphere web client Using the command-line.
