Any one found an actual fix for this??
First of all I have to say there is a KB articles for this issue, but actually they offer a workaround not a fix.

VMware says ESXi670-202004002 (Build 16075168) should fix it but then again they mention "Note: It is possible that you may still get this generic error Invalid configuration for device '0' even after upgrading to this or a later version"
The Issue:
When you disconnect and reconnect the network ( on a distributed switch) of a running VM the error: Invalid configuration for device '0' is thrown. When you change the network to anything else and back to the original network it works.
It is a great help if there is a permanent fix for this issue.
