vCenter

I'm trying to install vCenter Server (version 8.0U1b) on the same subnet (VM machine) where my ESXi host (version 7.0.3) is installed. I'm using an installer to install the vCenter which I downloaded from my trial license from VMWare. 

After setting up all correct network settings when I finish Stage 1 of deployment it stuck and when I checked the logs it says error: ovfDeployTimer: ovf deployment failed after 3600000 ms passed in which no response from the server was received basically timed out. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can somebody help me?

Note: I have a trial license, Installed VMware vCenter Server Appliance 2023-06-22 8.0U1b iso image

This is usually the case if the host has a free Hypervisor license assigned, which blocks required API features.
If possible switch the host back to the evaluation mode, or assign a valid license (other than the free one).
