Importing VMTools 10.1.0 into vCenter 5.5U3e

Quick question of how would one go about upgrading vmtools into Update Manager? I have updated Update Manager and vCenter is the latest patch version available.

When I go to Update Manager tab, I then select Import Patches and select the VMTools.zip file from My.VMWare.com, but when it is importing it states:

     Failed to import data.

Cannot upload file, because it is an invalid package.

I thought uploading the zip to vCenter is the way to make sure vmtools stays the latest version. The environment being managed is a closed network so there is no way to have internet connectivity.

Thank you.

Would help if that was in English. Selecting the link though for KB2129825 might do the trick. Will have to be done during off hours as a reboot is required for all hosts. Will inform if the solution works.
