If vCenter 6.0 can run on Windows server 2016 or not?

Hi,

My client is using vCenter 6.0 on Windows server 2008. We are going to upgrade it's OS to Windows server 2016.
May I confirm if vCenter 6.0 can run on Windows server 2016 or not?

Its a no. Check https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2091273

Please move to 6.5 or later. Better vCSA.

Use this as an opportunity to migrate them to the vCSA 6.5 or 6.7?

They can both manage ESXi 6.0 hosts assuming that's what your client has.

Thanks for your advice.

From client point of view, there would be additional efforts/time/costs to upgrade vCenter to 6.5 or 6.7.

Would you please confirm if vCenter 6.0 can run on Windows server 2016 or not?

If not, I will suggest client to upgrade OS to Windows server 2012R2 instead of 2016.

vCenter Server 6.0 is already out of support, regardless of the underlying version of Windows you might install it on.

Moving to vCSA 6.5 or 6.7 is a good first step to getting them back into a supported situation, and would therefore be a good recommendation to your client.
