These alerts just come from the hardware, vmware just reads the sensors, if your SEL is filling up the blade itself is reporting the problem. Look at the SEL log and the other sensors in your blades, usually with cmos batteries the alerts start coming once the voltage drops below a number. The only way to fix it is to replace it.
