IP range observed not showing it the network cable was drawn from port 23 and 24

Hi there,

I have a VMware cluster and wanted to  connect to a ISCSI network connected to an aruba 2920 24 ports switch left 2 ports which is the last 2 ports (which are sharing with sfp) to use, I plugged in the network cable to port 23 and the vcenter could not pick up the observed range of IP address, and same goes to port 24, however when I plug the cable to another port to test, I managed to get the observed IP range in just few seconds, I check in the switch, there is no VLAN configured, anything that I can change to make it work?

THank you,

This would seem to be a physical switch-side configuration issue on those two ports, so check with your vendor's product documentation.

Hi daphnissov,

I managed to fix it after adding that 2 ports to the vlan on the switch.

THank you.
