I receive an error of "cannot query source linux machine" when doing a P2V of a linux machine

Hi,

I'm trying to do a P2V of a linux machine but I keep getting this error message.

The system from where you're executing the vCenter Converter has UAC enabled ? Did you tried use the "Run As Administrator" option when launching the vCenter Converter ? Hi,

The UAC was disabled, it ended up being the 3rd in that list. Once I ran the "mount -t ext3 /dev/hdaX /tmp -o rw,exec,nodev" command the machine info came through and was able to do the conversion. Once again thanks for your help!
