Do you have any Special charecters in your SSO password?
Non-ASCII characters, semicolon (;), double quotation mark ("), single quotation mark ('), circumflex (^), and backslash (\). are not supported in SSO passwords.
Which Windows version do you use?
At which point of the installation do you receive the error?
Can you confirm an "SSORegTool" directory exists in the temporary folder at the time the error occurs?
André
I used @ in password when setting up vCenepter simple install because it say it need special character for passoword and installation failed at inventory service install.
I use windows 2008R2 and windows 2008R DC for vCenter to try VSA, etc .
If I need to change password to eliminate @ how could I do that ?
I doubt the "@" caused this problem. I have a test system with "@" in the admin password.
Another thing to check, do you have JAVA_HOME defined or java present in your PATH variable, if so, could you try removing them and try installing again.
