How to see how much memory a vSphere Service is using?

I need to monitor how much memory the vsphere web service is consuming.  I just increased it to the max 1024 to solve a web client performance issue and want to see if it was a bandaid or permanent fix by watching the service memory.   The service is vmware-client.

Are you using vcenter appliance or windows version ?

If you are using VCSA then take SSH session to the appliance and run the top utility to check the resource utilization.

Appliance.  That's what I was doing.  But was wondering if there was a way to only show the service I want to see without out the noise in top.
