How to remove ESXi host from Distributed Switch

3 node DRS Cluster - 1 x Physical, 2 x Nested in a LAB environment

I need to decommission an ESXi 6.0 U2 host and replace it (from Nested ESXi to Physical). I'm trying to remove the host from a Distributed Switch but it seems I can't do this until I remove it from the Distributed Switch. I can't seem to remove the VMkernel from the Management Port Group which is preventing me from removing the host from the Distributed Switch. Any suggestions? I'm guessing I need to migrate this to a Standard Switch first?

I logged into the ESXi host via the vSphere Client, migrated the Management Port Group to a Standard Switch, then I could remove the Host from the Distributed Switch. I could then remove the Host from the Cluster.
