How to maintain vPostgres database for vCenter Server 6 ?

Hi,

We are running vCenter Server 6 as a VM.  We would like to know is there any way for us to maintain the vPostgres database (Like: Check DB Size / Increase DB Size ... etc) ?

Yes you can maintain your vCenter DB:

You can perform the following :

1. Monitor the growth of the log file and compacting log file.

2. Perform regular backup of the DB

3. Perform backup before any vCenter upgrade

Is there any tool we can perform those tasks you mention ?  For SQL Server, I understand that we can make use of SQL Server Management Studio.

not sure there is a tool for vPostgrss , need to do some research

for SQL there are many KB articles and tools
