How to get SID Changer in VCSA6.7 Customize guest OS?

I had SID Changer in VCS6.0 for Windows, and when I migrated it to VCSA6.5 the feature stayed.

On a new install of VCSA6.7, I have no idea how to add it back.

Please take a look at https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1005593 which should solve the issue.

"For Microsoft Vista, Server 2008, and later operating systems, the System Preparation tools are built into the Windows operating system and do not have to be downloaded or have the version checked."

The kb says there is nothing needed to be done to the VCSA for that.

In fact, I didn't do any of it either for VCS6.0.

If you look at my screenshots, you can see VCS6.0 has buttons to add features.

Those are missing entirely in VCSA6.7.

Do i need to scrap the 6.7 and revert back to 6.0? Because I depend on this feature a lot.

I don't have access to a vCenter Server 6.7 at the moment. Can you please check whether the buttons are available on the Flash client?

You have to create a customization specification first then you can use it while deploying a VM from template.

Please have a look on this article: Create a Customization Specification for Windows

Try to create it from by selecting Menu > Policies and Profiles, and under Policies and Profiles, click VM Customization Specifications.
