How to enable alerts on IBM flex x240 and IBM Storwize v3700 hardwares

Hello All,

   My client wants to get alert if anything happens to SAN or IBM flex nodes ,

ESXi's installed on IBM Flex x240 and Shared storage is IBM Storwize v3700,

If anyone configured before please help me to fix this , thanks in advance .

   I have configured with the help of that books , I have one more question , client want to back up vms in production , In that production 3 vms using thick hdd shared for clustering purposes , which backup solution you suggest , please advise , If you prefer any storage to keep that vms plz suggest . @

About backup solution, you can use the free vSphere Data Protection or if you prefer a paid solution, take a look at IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environment.
