How to check VCenter Tasks & Events logs history

Hi, We have HA cluster with VCenter 5.5 and 2 X ESXi servers.

Currently the Task & Events tab only displays few logs; Is there anyway to check yesterdays or past logs ?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

The Logs of the vcenter did rotate after 5MB and generate a new log file. you can figure out the logs from the destination below.

I am trying to search (using Log Entry Contains field top right) for the texts/string within the above logs, but none of them can be found.
Those texts/strings were on Tasks & Events tab of one of my esxi server yesterday. I have searched by selecting each log from the drop down list, but no results though.

There were few errors like these yesterday on Tasks & Events tab of one of the server and I am trying search for a text "ifun_proto" or "Double-Free" or "bitmask" etc

<ERROR> ifun_proto: Timeout in HELLO state

<ERROR> Double-Free @ bitmask (14), bit (0)

In the vSphere client click on File -> Export -> Events, you can specify the exact dates you want to export to a csv in there.
