How many VMs does vCenter with default database ?

Hi,

We are doing Citrix VDI scalabilty testing on Cisco UCS B200M3 blade server for performance testing using VMware as Host.

We need some basic queries please clarify us.

My Environment details:

SUT details:

-------------------

Server :    Cisco UCS B200M3

Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5-2640

RAM:  256 GB DDR3.

VM details:

----------------

VM size :  30GB.

RAM: 1.5GB

OS: Windows 7 x64.

Question 1: How many VMs  with above configuration does vCenter with default database support ?

Question 2: If we need to install the seperate Database can someone guide as how to estabilish an ODB Connection ?

For question 1: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express(bundled DB) is intended for use with small deployments of up to 5 hosts and/or 50 virtual machines.
