Dear all
Hi
i have a question about LACP ports i have 2 pnic abd want use them as LACP while we create lacp we can define number of lags that are used such as number of uplinks
but there is a problem when i create a distributed switch have to define number of uplink and that is mandatory 1 uplink ports
but i don't need these uplink ports i just need lags in LACP :
Is that possible remove uplink ports that had to create during dvs ?

Yes, in order to create a vDS you need to specify at least one Uplink port group, but there's no need to assign physical uplinks to it.

i want actually to know is that possible to create vds without uplinks because i want use lacp and can assign vmnic to my lags
1- Is that possible ?
2- is that my imagine correct ? while i just want use lacp i don't need uplink for vds
BR
I'm currently not aware that it is possible to remove all uplink ports from a vDS. If you are going to use LAG groups you may add them to the dVS, but leave the default uplink ports unconnected.
André
Is that your means had to create at least one uplink during create vds and since use LACP , don' assign any pnic to that uplink ?

That's still dumb three years later.
