Host profile is blank on similar intel nucs

I have 3 intel nuc7s (2) are I5 processors, (1) is an I7 processor. 

The I5s are running 7.0u2, the I7 has 7.0u3., vcenter is the latest. I previously created a host profile on the I5 with 7.0u2, when I attached the host profile to the I7, and then attempt to edit the configuration, it's blank tell me that that the hardware is different. They are all intel Nuc7 BHN Falls. 

Am I doing something wrong, because previous host profiles used when you purchase newer servers, works fine.

This issue can occur if the hardware of the target host is different from the reference host used to create the host profile.

To resolve this issue,  create a new host profile specifically for the I7 and use the I7 as the reference host.

I'm trying to avoid recreating, or starting over. I was hoping that there was a work around or export, edit and import that was hardware agnostic.
