Help please (localhost is not setup to establish a connection on port 9443)

Dear professionals

I used to login and connect to the Vcenter server via vsphere web client but now i cant connect to it anymore.

when i clicked on ''diagnose connection problem'' i got this message ( please see the attached picture)


that is strange because I logged into vcenter server many times but suddenly I cant anymore.


Please advice me what to do

Hey naoufl,

Check if your vCenter service and web client service is running, If it is still running try restarting it once. and turn off your windows firewall  or check to see if anything is blocking the port 9443.

If still problem let us know.

Please try using the FQDN of the vCenter (vcenter.example.com) instead of localhot and see if it works.
