I was building up a vmware home lab. I needed a SAN storage so I setup a server with 2012 OS and then Installed iSCSI target server role on that. I created Virtual disk and assigned it to a initiar which is 192.168.100.140 (my esxi host) in this case.
now I went to web client. Connected to my vcenter, went to host inventory and selected my esxi host (192.168.100.140). I scanned for iSCSI adaptor and once it was showed up. I went to VmKernal Port binding. I selected the port and hit apply and okay.
Now , I went to Dynamic Discovery and added the iSCSI Target Server (my windows server on which i created the iSCSI LUN). it picked up default port automatically. Click on Apply and Okay. Then Rescanned. now issues comes up. There is no error message but un the Path, nothing is showing up.
what I am missing here ? Please help me to identify the issue.
